Celebrate baby's first birthday by imBIBing in a menu that has a bit of sophistication. The party becomes as unpredictable as a baby when guests don bibs and have an all-out unforgettable birthday party.

Make It Special!

Bib Invitations 
Make invitations from doll bibs found at toy or doll stores. Write directly on the bib, or staple the invitation to the bib. Or cut bib-shaped invitations from card stock.

Bib-wear 
Pass out bibs at the dinner table for everyone to wear. Purchase inexpensive ones, or cut them from an inexpensive sheet; attach ribbon for ties. Rubber-stamp a baby's handprint (with fabric ink pad) onto bibs, and write the baby's birth date with a fabric marker.

Bib Fun 
Provide a larger flat-weave cloth bib among guests to autograph as a keepsake of the party. Write the birthday baby's name and birth date on it.

Make a giant bib shape out of foam core or poster board. Write the baby's name and birthday as well as "1st Party." Photograph each guest behind the bib.

- Egg in Spoon Race
Make a start and finish line, first one there wins.
- Water Balloon Toss
Team who tosses the most without popping or dropping wins.
- Spooning Cotton Balls
Two bowls & blind fold, each child spoons cotton balls or marshmallows from one bowl to the other in one minute, the one who does the most wins.
- Balloon Pop
Each kid gets a balloon to sit on, first one popped wins.
