Decoration Ideas
- Color your own designs. You can color large mermaids, seahorses, crabs and shells for wall decorations.
- Streamer in aqua and green colors for under water look.
Activity Ideas
- Coloring Books. Find sea creature coloring books for coloring activities.
- Pin the hairbow on mermaid. If you can draw, make a mermaid on posterboard and get your blindfold.
- Draw your own placemats on poster boards to color with favorite characters.
- Egg in Spoon Race
Make a start and finish line, first one there wins.
- Water Balloon Toss
Team who tosses the most without popping or dropping wins.
- Spooning Cotton Balls
Two bowls & blind fold, each child spoons cotton balls or marshmallows from one bowl to the other in one minute, the one who does the most wins.
- Balloon Pop
Each kid gets a balloon to sit on, first one popped wins.
Music
- Get out your Beach Boy CDS or ocean soundtracks to play in the background.
Movies
- You can always show the Little Mermaid on video when available.
Foods
- Decorate your cake like a mermaid or you can make an aqua cake with white frosting dots for bubbles and place your favorite mermaid doll on top as decoration.
- Look for cake top decorations & cupcake liners in our cake section for your party theme.
- Gold Fishes Crackers
- Rice Crispies in the shape of crabs, fish and seashells, color with frosting as decor.
Favors
